Is a cross-media design project dedicated to preserving and celebrating the cultural legacy of women through a curated collection of traditional home remedies. More than a simple archive, it is a heartfelt tribute to grandmothers and matriarchs, aiming to bridge generations by transmitting their practical wisdom, intuitive care, and cultural heritage to the future.

Core Audience:
The project engages two primary audiences across its different mediums: curious young adults (12+) seeking connection to their roots, and a broader demographic (18-27 and beyond) looking to explore, learn, and integrate this inherited wisdom into modern life. The central goal is to evoke a profound sense of nostalgia while creating new, tangible memories for generations to come.

Medium One: The Tactile Rolodex

• Format: A physical, sensorial rolodex where each card represents an individual remedy.

• Experience: This medium prioritizes tangible, intimate interaction. Authentic dried herbs or flowers are embedded within the cards, engaging the user’s senses of touch and smell to create a direct, physical link to the tradition. The object itself is designed to be practical and personal, meant for quiet contemplation in a home space.

• Design Rationale & Constraints: The rolodex embraces its nature as a limited-edition artifact. Its primary affordance is its physicality and sensory depth, making the heritage literally "holdable." Its key disaffordance is limited distribution, which is reframed as a strength—it is a precious, localized object, echoing the personal way this knowledge was originally shared.

Medium Two: The Digital Archive

• Format: A dedicated, user-friendly website hosting the digital collection of remedies.

• Experience: This medium translates the nostalgia of the rolodex into an accessible, shareable, and practical digital format. It is designed to be an exploratory experience, inviting users to browse, search, and learn. The interface balances evocative, warm aesthetics (photographs of handwritten notes, ambient sounds) with clear, simple navigation.

• Design Rationale: The website's core affordances are accessibility, reach, and interactive potential. It allows people of all ages and locations to engage with the collection, democratizing the legacy.
